KATSEYE is moving at full speed, and the numbers leave little room for debate. The global girl group has reached a new career milestone with "Animal," climbing to the highest chart positions of its career while building momentum ahead of its next release. With streaming growth, festival success, and expanding international reach, the group is proving that its breakout year is far from over.

According to the latest Spotify Weekly Top Songs chart dated July 24 through July 30, announced on August 1, "Animal" debuted at No. 9 on the Global chart and No. 8 on the U.S. chart. Those placements mark KATSEYE's best performance on the platform so far. The achievement also surpassed the group's previous career highs, including "Gabriela," which peaked at No. 10 globally, and "PINKY UP," which reached No. 14 on the U.S. chart.

The latest results stand out even more because "Animal" became the highest-ranked new entry across this week's Spotify Weekly Top Songs rankings. That kind of arrival rarely happens without sustained listener interest, showing that KATSEYE's audience continues to expand well beyond its original fan base.

The momentum did not stop there. "Animal" claimed No. 1 on Spotify's Global Top Song Debut chart and also topped the UK debut ranking. In the United States, it secured the No. 2 position on the same debut chart, reinforcing the group's growing influence across several of the world's biggest music markets.

The song also made another major statement in the United Kingdom. It entered the latest Official Singles Top 100 chart, dated July 31 through August 6, at No. 16. For a group that only debuted in the United States in 2024, those results underline how quickly KATSEYE has become a serious international contender.

Streaming success is one thing. Delivering it live is another. KATSEYE showed it could do both on July 31 when the group headlined the opening day of the Hinterland Music Festival in Iowa. The performance lasted approximately 56 minutes and featured a packed 14-song set, marking the group's first appearance as the headlining act at a major music festival since debut.

The crowd responded with loud cheers throughout the show as KATSEYE performed fan favorites including "PINKY UP" and "Gabriela." The biggest talking point arrived when the members unveiled the first live performance of "Animal." Songs often hit differently once they reach a festival stage, and this performance showed why the track has quickly become one of the group's defining releases.

KATSEYE's rapid rise has been driven by consistent performances, strong streaming numbers, and a growing presence across international charts. Rather than staying put after earlier successes, the group continues to push into bigger venues and stronger chart positions with every comeback.

The next chapter is already around the corner. KATSEYE is scheduled to release its third EP, "WILD," on August 14, continuing what has become one of the fastest-growing success stories in global pop. If the performance of "Animal" is any indication, expectations for the upcoming release are already sky high.
